Weeks 2 - 6

Ok folks grab a bowl of pop corn and a cold coke because this is going to be a long post.

I have to catch up on a few weeks but from now on I will just do 1 week

at a time.

 

Boys you are 6 weeks old today... its been a wild ride and we just keep falling more in love with you guys every day!!! 

 

You guys have had lots of visitors, here is your jodee holding you boys.  

Kaylee wanted to read you guys a book... she read you guys every word of that book!! 

Connor we tried mittens on you to prevent scratches...

you were not a fan....

they kept coming off and I would find them in the weirdest places.  

Lots of cuddling with daddy... you boys LOVE to lay on him and can sleep for HOURS like this!! 

You guys were soooooo good in the waiting room at mommys doctors appointment. 

Your auntie KK came and took professional pictures of you guys!!! I love the way they turned out!! 

Lots... and Lots of feedings. You guys came home eating 30ML per feeding every 3 hours. as of today at 6 weeks you guys are up to 80-90 ML

We had gotten you guys up to 120 ML but there was ALOT of spit up... ALOT!!!!

So our doctor recommended feeding you guys less more often and that is helping so as of today 80 is the magic number!!

Most of the time we stagger the feedings, I will change a diaper then feed one of you and burp and then hold upright for 10 minutes then do the same with the other guy... most feedings take an hour and 15 minutes unless we take longer to cuddle.

On the rare occasion you are both screaming bloody murder I will feed you both at the same time in the spare crib and you guys sitting in your boppy pillows... that still takes an hour...  

On our way to another doctors appointment. You boys are great in the car you love when daddy plays his rock music... mommy doesn't like it as much...

You guys are very good babies. You both eat good and now that were not over feeding you there has been minimal spit up for the last 24 hours!! You guys are both good sleepers. You both like to be swaddled and have a paci. Our days revolve around eating sleeping burping and pooping...

You both are starting to be awake more and more and I love to watch you boys look around and discover new exciting things.

 

When I was feeding Connor the other night he wrapped his little arm around my neck and my heart melted... mommas first hug!!! I cant describe how much I love you little man!!! You make mommas heart full!!!

 

Charlie you make sounds like a little goat and its just precious. When we hold you, you curl up in a tiny little ball. You have the sweetest little smile when your sleeping. I sure love you Charlie man you make us happy!!!!
