7 weeks old

Dear sweet boys you are 7 weeks old today!!! Where has the time gone??? We had a very good week. We had a couple visitors, sue, ann, millie and your aunt karen came to see you. You guys seem to love meeting new people!! You guys worked on your tummy time and your getting better at it and enjoying it more. Connor you love to look at your self in the tiny little mirror and Charlie you love to look at your self in the bathroom mirror.

We had lots of snoozin time this week. You guys also got to spend a lot of time with your jodee, she is going to be watching you guys when I go back to work next week so she came over to practice taking care of you guys and figure out your routine. She did really good and you guys were very good for her and I think she is going to spoil you rotten!! But that's ok because that's what babies are for!!! 

I caught Charlie trying to touch Connor on the monitor and you kept waking up your brother so I went in and moved you guys further apart in your crib and Charlie cried and screamed until I went in and moved him back within touching distance from Connor. This is the end result!!! Charlie you love to be touched and touching your brother was your way of comforting yourself.... you have done this every night since... and Connor your so sweet and don't seem to mind your brother... although the other night I was trying to get you guys to sleep and you were very feisty and you punched Charlie in the face...  

Charlie you crack me up... we never know what your going to be doing!!! To be such a little baby you sure do have a funny personality!!! 

 We had a quick trip to the doctor... you guys both had bad diaper rash and I was slightly concerned with the shape of Connors head... long trip story short... your formula was causing you guys to have too runny poop and that was causing the diaper rash to not heal as fast as it should... but we got some miracle diaper rash cream and 3 days later its healed!!! Also connor your head is fine the doctor said it will round out when you start sitting up more and not sleeping all day. Grammy was so sweet to go with us!!! She was so funny you guys kept tooting on the table... but also the table was making a toot sound when we would bump up against it and grammy thought you guys were MAJORLY gassy!!!

Charlie you weighed 6 lbs and 6 oz.... Connor you weighed 6 lbs and 10 oz!!!!

Connor you decided you wanted to watch tv!!

We went to Grammies for your uncle mikes birthday and you boys had a blast!!! Great grandma nita babysat you while mommy and daddy ate dinner!!! She sure loves you guys a lot!!! We had a blast just hanging out... I didn't get a picture of your cousins but I have to tell you what a cute video your auntie kk put on facebook... your cousin micheal loves you so much and in the car ride to Grammies he kept saying "baby connor" "baby Charlie" it was so sweet!!! I know you 3 will be best friends and have great adventures together!!!

BABY SHOES!!! your California auntie Amanda gave you guys these shoes and they are just down right adorable!!!  

Every day you guys get liquid vitamins in one bottle a day because you were preemies and you need extra vitamins... well with the new formula the doctor gave you to help decrease your spit up the vitamins made the weirdest color and texture!!! So for 1 bottle a day we are going to drink your old formula with your vitamins... because mama almost threw up looking at this hahah!!!

Connor is out!!

You guys are officially in newborn outfits!!! All your preemie clothes are too small!!! So I got them all washed and sorted and I am going to donate them to the NICU but I just had to snap this picture to show how big you guys are getting!!! That tiny outfit was BIG on you in the NICU!!! This just shows how much you guys are growing!!!  

Week seven was good to us!!! We have 3 whole days together before mama has to go back to work and were gonna fill our days with cuddles. I love you boys so much and im so excited to see you guys growing and developing. Each day is a new adventure and im loving every minute!!!
