All about connor

Connor, you are our laid back dude... in my belly you were stretched out just hanging out.. pretty often I would have to drink cold water to make sure you were moving because you didn't move alot...

Same goes for when you came home. We joked that you were in a sleep coma for the first 5 months. You woke to eat... then fell back asleep... You were so clam, quiet and easy!!

Then you woke up...!! We joked "what woke up con??" It was like over night you woke up. It was hectic at first, but we loved the crazy connor.

Connor you are crazy, you are way braver than Charlie, you don't think too hard about things, you just plow off and do them.. You have a few more bumps and bruises than Charlie but most of the time you try stuff first. You crawled first, and you walked first. You are trying to take off walking with no assistance but you keep falling.

You are more picky of an eater than Charlie is, you spit stuff out if you don't like it. I would say you like 80% of what we feed you.

You have 4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom and your working on 2 more on the bottom. You weigh xx (doctors apt June 6th) and your xx inches tall. you can waive, clap and point. You love to blow kisses. You love going places and seeing people. You are so lovie and love to rub your cheek next to ours.

Connor you are a lovie guy, you melt my heart just by rubbing your cheek against mine. Your laid back and wild too, sorta a sour patch kid (sour then sweet). You are very determined and I know you are going to grow up into a great man!!

All about charlie

Sweet sweet Charlie, this post is all about you!!!

From the beginning we have always watched you very closely, first they thought you had a hole in your heart, then they thought you wernt growing big enough. Then after you were born you required a bit more care in the nicu than connor needed and then you had 2 hernias.

Mommy and daddy always knew you were a spunky guy... in my belly you were always on the left side at the bottom folded in a tiny ball. You constantly moved!! You wiggled ... all... the ... time!! We watched your weight very closely thinking brother was taking all the nutrients from you but when you were born.. first I might add... you weighed 4 oz more than your brother!! Just a bit shorter.

After you came home you were so alert and happy!! Once you figured out how to smile it was all over... you loved to smile at people!! You were a feisty happy baby!!

You did have a double hernia and that slowed you down in the growth department a little but you have been working to catch up to your little brothers size. And your just about caught up.

Your a happy happy baby who loves people, you love when we go places and you love when people come over!! Your very curious, you want to be in the middle of everything. You flirt with ladies... It's so cute!! You just bat your eyes and smile !!

You are kinda timid and cautious compared to your brother when your trying new things. You sit back and try to figure it all out before just jumping in.

You LOVE food. You are not a picky eater at all... you will try anything and you like most everything. You love milk!!

You like when kids are on tv, you get the biggest smile and giggle. It's so dang cute. You like music and even try to dance a little when it's on. You will play with anything... even a sock.. your easy to please!!

Charlie babe you are a joy in our lives, we love you so much and we couldnt imagine life without you. You make us smile and laugh every day!! I cannot wait to see what your future holds, I know you will do great things!!

51 weeks

You dudes are 51 weeks old!!! Fist off I have to say... I have never kept up with anything .. consistently... for 51 weeks in a row!! But I have blogged now 51 weeks in a row.. which is crazy but I guess it's cause I kinda like my blog topic... just a little bit.. ok a whole-lot-a-bit!!! 

We have been having the best time playing with you guys lately... your really growing up and interacting more with us it's so much fun.

And you guys are so interested in your toys... you are even trying to roll stuff around like cars.. daddy said it's time for tractors and monster trucks!!

And you 2 are always together  ... like on top of each other.. constantly playing together.. and I love it!! You guys are even play wrestling.. daddy has the cutest video!!

Every day when i come home from work i can hardly make it in the door before you guys attack me... I love it cause it just means you love me and your excited I'm home!! 

The funniest thing happend.... and daddy and I both saw it... Connor was walking with this zebra walker the other day and he stumbled and fell... and once he sat up he gave the zebra the dirtiest look and slapped the zebra... haha it was so funny!!

At first not a fan of the grass.. 

Then Charlie figured out he liked it.. Connor did not... he wouldn't leave the blanket...

Your first birthday is fast approaching and I'm working really hard to get everything just perfect for your party. We get to go to kaylees birthday this weekend and you boys get to go swimming!!! I can't wait!! 

50 weeks!!!

Another fun week with you guys!! Just doing all our normal things... eating, playing and just having a good old time!!

Sunday was my first mothers day!!! I mean I celebrated last year with you guys in my tummy but this year was different!! You were here... in my arms... giving me sweet baby hugs and kisses!!! Granny Jody sent me flowers at work on Friday and so did your daddy!!! I was shocked!!! They were beautiful and filled with love!! Your auntie r Ann gave me the sweetest card with a light up tiara in it!! And auntie kk

Your great uncle Lee and aunt alma came to visit your Nita this weekend so you guys got in a quick visit with them.

Daddy killed a rattle snake... in town!!! Pretty scary!!! We just need to be really careful when we're outside playing!

 gave me a necklace... Well it's been a crazy week so I haven't gotten it yet, but she told me about it and it sounds beautiful. And Grammy gave me a beautiful purple potted plant!! It's so pretty. I love being your mom and I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be your mom, it was nice to celebrate a day just for me and you boys!! Thanks for making me a mom!!

You guys used to sleep all they the night but about a month ago you both started waking up about 2-3 times EACH night at SEPERATE times... yeah a lot of fun... so we tried feeding you guys more food during the day and BAM back to sleeping 12 hours at night... so you guys are eating 1st breakfast, 2nd breakfast,  lunch, 1st dinner and 2nd dinner and a snack or 2.

I for real, full on mixed you 2 up today... I had taken your shirts off so you could eat dinner and not stain your shirts with red sauce... and then put who I thought was Charlie in the bouncer and who I thought was Connor in the walker... I then proceeded to steam clean the living room carpets... all the while who I thought was Charlie screaming and bouncing and having a blast... then I smelled a "deposit" so I went to change "charlie" .. put him in his normal high chair on the left... get "connor" put him in his normal chair on the right  ... proceed to feed them 3 bites each of 2nd dinner and then realize Connors in Charlie's chair and Charlie is in Connors chair!!! Worst mom award!!! Long story short... you guys really look a lot alike... and you have to wear name tags now... kidding... or am i?!?

So besides all the food your devouring and mixing you guys up we had a good week!!
