5 months!!!

5 whole months have passed since you guys have been here!! In a way it feels not that long, but it also feels like this is just how our lives were meant to be... I feel like you were always ment to be in our lives.. we sure were missing out before you guys showed up.. you both bring us daily joy and fill our hearts so full they could just burst!!!

You guys are sleeping really good!! Surprisingly you are both on pretty much the same schedule. You go to sleep anywhere between 6:30 pm and 7:30pm we can tell you guys are getting sleepy when you start rubbing your eyes. You are both drinking 5 oz about 7-8 times a day. You are only waking up once in the night to eat about 3am give or take an hour, you both eat really good and go right back to sleep. Then up and all smiles and coos around 6:30am. You both are morning people which is weird cause your mom and dad ARE NOT! So that makes weekends fun being up at the crack of dawn... but I have been bringing you in our bed and turning on cartoons and we have our "soaking time" as my great grandma big mother used to say... I love it because you guys just coo and kick and smile and your both so warm and cuddly.
You are both eating really good like I said 5 oz bottles about 7 times a day. And we have been feeding you baby food for about a month now and it's going pretty good. Charlie still LOVES it and connor is starting to come around. So far you guys have eaten peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, Brussel sprouts, bananas, apples and butternut squash. You guys like them all!! We feed you guys once a day the baby food and we also add a couple spoon fulls to your bedtime bottle.

You both love bath time and splashing in the little baby tub but you don't like when you have to get out and get dressed if you guys get a little chilly you get pretty fussy till we get your pj's on.

We have made a huge play area on the living room floor where you guys lay and play. You both love to put things in your mouth and chew... I just know you will have teeth before we know it. You guys love your rattles and moose toy and your even flirting with rolling over. You both get so far over on your side we just know your going to roll over and then nope you flop back over... ha it's pretty dang cute tho. You guys are getting really good at tummy time and your holding your little heads up so good these days.

We haven't weighed you in a while but I'm guessing connor is around 15lbs and charlie 13. Your eczema really flares up if you guys get hot. Charlie you have a tiny spot on the left side of your forehead and connor it's every where.. mainly your right cheek and side of your face. If we keep the cream on your face it helps. Your nails grow so fast we have to trim them weekly!!! You guys pee alot and poop a couple times a week... we are about half cloth and half disposable diapers at this time just what ever is convenient for everyone!! when we change your guys diapers you love to kick.. it's so cute you guys get such a look of determination that you just gotta kick as fast as possible. it makes me laugh ... every time!!!

Your grannie jodee watches you 3-4 days a week and your daddy watches you on his days off and grammy fills in. We are so lucky to have so much family around close!! When I get home in the evenings I play with you guys and work on tummy time and rolling over. You guys love to go outside and look up at the trees!!

You are both happy lovie babies that I love with all my heart!! I can't wait to see the boys you will become and the men you will turn into. Charlie you are happy smiley lovie and love to hold your brothers hand. Connor you are Mello sweet cuddly happy and always there for your brother. I can already see your friendship blooming and I'm just over the moon in love with you two little toots!!!
