We had a good week. Sunday you were both wide awake at 6:45am!! I felt like a bit of cabin fever was setting in and I needed to get out and about... how hard would it really be to take you both to amarillo?!?... not hard at all I thought to myself... I needed to go to babies r us and Joanne's easy peasy... well I was telling grammy in our morning talk I wanted to take you both to amarillo to get out and about and she said oh that's great I'm meeting Kathleen and the kids for lunch why don't you join us!! Ok sounds great... I get you both fed, burped and relaxed (to help digest to prevent spitups) for 20 minutes then dressed and in the car seats and in the car all by 10:30am. ... we maybe made it 5 minutes down the road and connor you started screaming bloody murder!!! I pulled over and put the paci in... readjusted your toys and blankie and you were fine... for about 3 minutes ... then I pulled over again about 10 minutes down the road and put the paci back in and texted grammy ... maybe this was too hard.. maybe I'll just turn around... well connor you quieted down so we drove on.. you both slept the whole way to amarillo about an hour, we got to the restaurant... now how do I get 2 carseat filled with babies and a diaper bag into the restaurant?!? Do I get the stroller out? What if it doesn't fit in between the tables? What if there isn't room for it next to the table... do I just manhandle 2 carseat and a diaper bag?? What if they are too heavy ?? Well auntie kk came to the car and carried one carseat in and I carried the other... you both did great at lunch.. I think you loved looking at all the colorfully painted walls!! Then we went to babies r us... you both cried the 5 minutes over to the store.. i clicked your carseats into the stroller and strolled on.. it was very easy pushing the stroller... then in the store connor you got very fussy so I fed you while grammy shopped .. you spit up a bit but nothing too bad.. then we checked out and went back to the car.. we had a diaper change then back in your carseats to go over to Joanne's... you both started screaming.. I got flustered... I threatened to go home... then I went on over to Joanne's anyways.. we shopped in there pretty quick.. this time charlie had a bottle in the store then you both fell asleep... I checked out .. put you both in the car and said goodbye to Grammie and headed home.. I got a pumpkin spice iced latte and it was delicious!! You both slept the whole way home and charlie woke up 2 miles from the house... all in all we had a great day... it's good to go on adventures like that both for momma and you boys... were all learning here!! Oh and best part of our day out... you guys both slept 12 hours straight!!!!! 7pm to 7:30 am!!! Then on Tuesday and Wednesday daddy watched you boys on his days off you were really good boys for him Tuesday and kinda wild Wednesday but you guys are cute so that makes up for it!! We love you little toots to the moon and back!!
