Week 9 **** 2 months

Happy 2 months boys!!! you guys are doing so good and growing every day!!! you guys stillllll eat every 3 hours if not before ... side eye.... (you guys trick your jodee into feeding you before the 3 hour mark) but that's ok, your growing boys and you need to eat to grow!!

You guys are officially out of premie outfits!! We are donating them to the nicu!! You are both wearing newborn which fit perfectly and a couple 0-3 month but they are kinda big.

Most of your sleep times fit into that 3 hour rotation I was talking about.... but as I write this at 2 am you guys just slept a total of 4 1/2 hours straight!!! Feeding, burping cuddles and sleeping time was a total of 5 hours 20 minutes!!! Im jumping over the moon happy cause this mama just got 4 hours of sleep.. in a row...!!!! I love you guys just a little bit more because of that gift you just gave me!!!

You both are doing the sweetest things, you guys have begun to coo... its so cute when your happy we just hear the sweetest coos out of you guys.... also connor when we go to get you out of the crib now you will reach up for us to get you is pretty sweet and mamas heart melts a little each time!! You both follow us with your eyes and your head if were moving around the room and you want to watch us. You are both doing so good at holding up your heads you guys love to look around and bob your little heads around!!

KK bought you guys the sweetest little irish hats!!

daddy got his safety bonus and spent it on your next car seats so you guys will be safe!!! these will grow with you guys until you are 4 foot 9 and 120 pounds or go to college which ever comes first...

You guys got to meet your cousin owen. He is 1 month older than you guys and weighs more than you both put together... you boys will catch up though im sure of it!!!

Both of you have started holding our fingers when we feed you... doesn't matter who you guys just love to hold hands. This is Charlie holding jodees hand.

You guys had lots of visitors, I told jodee I was surprised she came over on her day off from babysitting.. and she said she just couldn't stay away... I think she loves you guys very much!!! Also auntie R-Ann came over and held you guys and you both fell asleep right away!!!

Your dad has had the crazy idea to trade in mommys car... I really liked my 4 runner but daddy thought we needed something bigger... and he's right but don't tell him I said that...

Soooo... we traded it in on this expedition, we got a great deal... its a year newer and way more fancy... it has a 3rd row so we can take your friends places... has navigation if we get lost and air conditioned seats if mommy's butt gets hot!!! You cant ask for much more!!! We also got a car port installed that we had ordered back in april... that's a whole nother story!!!

 You guys got into your very first fight... well you know how I mention before that you guys liked being so close you could touch... well that came to an end at least in your crib... I heard you guys fussing when I laid you down after eating.. I didn't think anything about it because you guys usually fuss the fist time we put you down in the crib for the night. But then the cry changed and it was a sad cry like something was wrong so I checked the monitor and you guys were going at it... arms swinging left and right you guys were going crazy hitting each other!!! I ran in and charlie was crying and there were real tears and everything!!! So needles to say we added some space between you dudes and you were both back to being happy best friends!!

Connor never stays where I put him anymore... hes all over he place!!! Connor you were kicking charlies feet and he HATED it!!!

This picture means so much to me on so many different levels... first off it shows how happy you are with granny jodee while im at work... second this was TEXTED to me by your 88 year old great grandma nita!!!! How many great grandmas are texting these days?!?!? im sure lucky ours is!!!

2 month appointment at the doctors means shots... I was really nervous for you guys but you always shock us and you guys did great... maybe cried for 3 seconds then you both were fine.

At the doctors appointment they discovered that Charlie has a hernia... it was totally out of left field and mama got really sad... after lots of prayer and researching it im feeling better about the surgery. We go meet the surgeon next Wednesday and then he will schedule your surgery. Im ready for it to be fixed and done with now that we know about it!! 

This is breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, second dinner and midnight snack for both of you for a month!!!! Daddy bought in bulk!!!!

 

On Thursday we got to go to the hospital where you boys were born and we got to see your favorite nurse get an award!!! At the hospital they gave us a welcome packet when I delivered you 2 and in it was a little paper called the daisy award. It is a way for patients to nominate nurses that go above and beyond for their patients. We nominated alexis, she is the nurse I talked about in the nicu post that took such great care of you guys the first 4 days. I got home and sent in the paper never thinking it would even get to the correct people... (its a big hospital and it was just mailed to their general post office box I thought forsure it would get lost). Well last week a man named dustin called and told us that alexis had won and wondered if you boys wanted to be there to see her get the award.  We got there early and they hid us in one of the rooms with her husband and daughter (who is the cutest little chickie ever) we came out and surprised her!! They presented her with her award and then we went to the break room and had cookies and cinnabons... it was a great day and you guys did great!!!

I cant praise the Lord enough!!! You guys are awesome in the car and car seats!!! which is amazing cause we live 75 miles away from anything!!!! I hope this is always true and we get to go on lots of great adventures!!!

 

Another big adventure we had this week was went to see auntie R-Ann at her work. She works at the AQHA American quarter horse association. Its a beautiful building and museum and mommy thinks you guys could get married there one day... when your 35 and find the right girls... you guys slept and tooted thru the whole visit!!!
