It all started back in September when we got our bunnies from Jody. We loved on them, held them, fed and watered them everyday. We practiced putting them into a cute little ball that perfectly showed them off. The part we weren't really ready for was the Showmanship part of it... but that comes from practice and actually going to a stock show .... hahaha momma had never been to one ever... blind leading the blind.... but you guys weren't scared or nervous... you went in with your little boots and button up shirts and showed off your rabbits like you had been doing this for years!! Or at least once before ... haha... you guys were so cute to watch I loved every second of it!!
The rabbits were actually in 2 different weight classes of fancy rabbits which was perfect. Connor was in the first group since his bun, edith, was 3 lbs 4 oz, the judge looked long and hard and then gave Connor 2nd place which is awesome and we were super excited!!! Then Charlie was in the second group with his bunny vera, who weighed 4lbs even. Charlies bunny got 1st place and we were blown away!!!
Vera went back in with the other 3 1st place fancy rabbits and won again. Vera and charlie won breed champion rabbit.
Charlie got to go back for grand champion and he lost to a really nice rabbit and a sweet girl.
Since you both placed you guys got to go to the sale and people bid on your rabbits... and you both walked away with a NICE chunk of change for your college funds!!!
We are beyond proud of you guys!!! You guys have learned alot and really enjoyed it!! We have 17 more years at this and I'm looking forward to everyone of them!!!
